Donating to Gleaners

What?

Gleaners Main: at this location we accept: clothing, shoes, linens, toys, crafts. We do not accept soiled, stained or ripped items.

Gleaners Too: at this location we accept indoor and outdoor furniture, household wares, yard goods, books, decor, holiday decor, We do not accept large appliances, electronics, toilets, exercise equipment or ripped or stained mattress.

Food Services: at this location we accept perishable and non-perishable goods. We can not accept homemade preserves, canning or baked goods.

Non- perishable items that we the Gleaners purchase for our food bank recipients are:

When you donate these items you directly impact our bottom $ line. Thank you.

Canned Soups – tomato, chicken noodle, vegetable and mushroom.

Canned items – green beans, kernel corn, baked beans, kidney beans, tomatoes, pasta sauce, and tuna.

Dry items – cereal, sugar, flour, rice, macaroni & cheese, soup noodles, macaroni, spaghetti, crackers, oatmeal, canola oil, peanut butter & jam

Gleaners Too – adjacent corner on 8th St.

Food Services – behind main building

Monetary gifts can be dropped off at any location or mailed.

When?

Our gates are open 7 am to 4 pm Monday thru to Friday and Saturday 11 – 4.

Gates are closed Sundays & Holidays

We ask that you abide by our hours of operation, and don’t discard your items at the gate entrance or doors. Items that are disowned in this manor generally are taken to the landfill due to weather damage. And then our funds pay landfill fees, upwards of $20,000 per year.
